The vast majority of French voters do not want President Francois Hollande put forward for the next presidential term, said on Sunday the radio station RTL.

According to a poll conducted for the publication Journal du Dimanche, 85% of French people do not want to see Hollande presidential candidate for elections in 2017.

Over the past six months the number of voters who would like to back Hollande announced his candidacy fell by 5% - in April to participate in presidential elections expressed by 80% of respondents.

This survey among Socialist supporters showed that the majority (41%) would like to see the elections left the camp represented the leader of the "Left Front " Jean-Luc Mlenchon.
