Claims businessman Igor Kolomoisky, Privat, Inc. " Airport " Belbek " (Sevastopol, Crimea), " Ukrnafta " and LLC " Stabia " came to Russia in the International court of arbitration at The Hague to stage hearings on jurisdiction.

This is stated in a press release posted at the Hague tribunal, reports " The economic truth " .

According to press releases, all four judges allowed claims provide materials Ukraine as a party that is not involved in the dispute, but refused further request for presence and oral statement at the hearing.

The hearing on jurisdiction was held in Geneva in two different formulations of arbitration, claims " Ukrnafta " and " Ltd " Stabia " - July 11, claims " Belbek " , Kolomoisky and Privat - 12-14 July 2016.

Meanwhile, Russia still refuses to provide any comments or otherwise participate in the proceedings.

As a result of hearing the first two claims arbitrators invited the parties to provide additional materials and evidence of some of the issues that interested the court, in the period to 26 August, two other claims - up to 14 October 2016.

It was reported that all four submitted in the first half of 2015 claims refer to the rules of UNCITRAL (United Nations Commission on International Trade Law, the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law) and the agreement between the governments of Russia and Ukraine of 27 November 1998 on investment protection.

Kolomoisky announced the presence of a 2020 contract to manage the airport passenger terminal " Belbek " in Sevastopol, Russia nationalized after the annexation of the Crimea. Now he demands compensation from Russia in a possible loss of income from the terminal. It amounts to 15 million dollars.

Privat indicates that a violation by Russia of obligations under the agreement on mutual protection of investments he lost his banking business in Crimea.

" Ukrnafta " , " Stabia " and 10 other plaintiffs accuse Russia in the expropriation of their investments in filling complexes in Crimea.

In addition, the Hague arbitration commenced consideration of another initiated in June 2015 a similar case in which the LLC " Everest " , chairman of the board Privat, Alexander Dubilet and 17 others companies also said the violation by Russia of obligations that prevented the plaintiffs in their investments in the Crimea are in real estate and, ultimately, led to the expropriation of these investments.
